We did the 5 island cruise today and had a wonderful experience. From our initial WhatsApp chats prior to booking they were nothing but helpful and informative arranging a taxi transfer from our hotel to the boat departure point and back for us. The cruise itself was amazing, we visited a waterfall, fed monkeys, visited beautiful islands and beaches, snorkelled, saw colourful fish and coral. The BBQ lunch was very tasty with plenty to eat, soft drinks, water, rum, wine etc was available on the boat and at lunchtime. We would definitely use this company again and have already recommended them to fellow hotel guests! 10/10

We had the most incredible experience with Johannes Cruises – truly a day to remember! From start to finish, the team was professional, honest, ethical and focused on making our trip safe, fun and completely tailored to us. We were collected in a lovely, new, air conditioned car by Yash who told us all about the island’s history along the way. As the weather was supposed to turn in the afternoon, they gave us an honest heads-up that continuing for a full day might not be ideal. Rather than risking rough conditions or pushing us to stick to the original plan, they recommended we opt for a half-day instead – prioritising our safety and lowering the cost accordingly. We really appreciated that kind of transparency and care. Our private speedboat driver, Sun, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, full of energy and fun and went out of his way to make everything we wanted happen. He even let the kids – and my husband – take a turn driving the boat, which absolutely made their day on Father’s Day. The boat was stocked with delicious snacks, unlimited soft drinks, wine and rum and we stopped for a laid-back lunch on a beautiful island completely with live entertainment from one of the guys there and his guitar. Sun had even brought along plenty of snacks for the monkeys, so we were able to feed them – a magical and unforgettable experience for all of us! Nothing felt rushed at any point – in fact, Sun made sure we took our time and soaked in every moment. It was the perfect Father’s Day outing – exciting, relaxing and completely personal. We can’t recommend Johannes Cruises enough and we’ll definitely be booking with them again next time we come to Mauritius.
